Kenneth Hogan

A skilled trial and litigation attorney, Ken has extensive experience representing clients in commercial and business disputes, from contracts, shareholder disputes, dissolution actions, business torts, complex commercial litigation, receiverships, custodianships, banking and finance litigation, and collection actions – whether in trial, arbitration, or mediation, Ken fights for his clients’ rights and recoveries.

Ken earned and retains rating as “AV Pre-eminent,” Martindale Hubbel’s highest performance ranking. He’s also been recognized in Thompson Reuters’ Super Lawyer’s rankings as a “Rising Star” in 2009, as a “Superlawyer” in 2014, 2015, 2016, 2017, as one of the Mountain States’ Top 100 litigation and trial attorneys in 2015 (Nevada, Utah, Montana, Idaho and Wyoming), and has been selected in Nevada Business Magazine polling as “Legal Elite” in Nevada for the years 2014, 2015, 2016, 2017. In 2018, Ken was recognized with a Lifetime Achievement Membership among America's Top 100 Attorneys®. 

Ken has served on the State Bar of Nevada disciplinary committee (attorney conduct) 2011, 2012, 2013, 2014, 2015, 2016, 2017. In 2018, Ken was elected by the Board of Governors to serve as Vice Chair of the State Bar's Disciplinary Panel.

Before practicing law, Ken retired from twenty years of service to this nation as an intelligence field operations officer and rated Master Aviator, with extensive combat experience, at the rank of Lieutenant Colonel. Being groomed for further service in the intelligence community on a national level, after graduating number one in his class of over 150 select military, CIA, FBI, and DEA intelligence professionals at the Defense Intelligence Agency’s National Defense Intelligence College in Washington, D.C., Mr. Hogan was placed in command of all USAF psychological operations, military deception, command and control targeting, and electronic warfare operations in key theaters of combat operations, where he served until his retirement in 2003.

Upon entering the practice of law, Ken trained at and worked for the law firm of Gordon Silver for seven years, one of Nevada’s oldest, largest, and most prominent business litigation firms, until teaming with Jeff to form Hogan Hulet, where he continues to focus on quickly and efficiently resolving disputes while protecting his clients’ long-term financial interests.
